The city of Lucca has always been my favourite. Not only because it is only 25 minutes away from our home and I go there at least two or three times a week, but also because you do not feel like a "tourist" there.

Hi Richard. It will be difficult within Bagni di Lucca itself as dogs are supposed to be kept on leash in parks such as Contessa Cassalini. I checked the Comune site and there is no information. Perhaps a visit to the Tourist Information Service, near the Town Hall may be of help.
I had the same problem for quite a few hours since Sunday afternoon. It was always "unobtainable". Glad we are back to normal!!!
