Just wondering if there is anyone living in the Amandola/ Sarnano/ Force area who is not in Italy at the moment and has olives which need picking as we are hopefully going to the press next week.

We are just about to have our gas bombolla filled for the winter and were wondering if we could do a quick survey as last time our gas prices seemed much higher than our friends locally. Have just phoned Golden Gas and the price t
Well who could believe that is is a whole year since Karen found those 6 little puppies in a sack at the side of the road. To celebrate their first year, we decided to have a birthday party yesterday at Lago di Ruffino which was great fun.
Does anyone know why the posts are going on twice when I am only adding them once? Not sure what I am doing wrong?
A good Italian friend of ours had just lost her husband - they live in the UK, so we wanted to send them a card. We have been told locally that Italians would usually send a plain white card with a black stripe on the edge along with a flower.
Just wondering if anyone has recently completed a quote online for Direct Line car insurance - getting a bit stuck on a couple of the questions and was wondering if we could phone someone for help please.
At last, some hope for 94 families from the village of Onna. Homes built and bought by money raised by the Red Cross (so hopefully some of our fundraising has gone towards this).
Jessie loves playing stick in the woods, but really not sure where those long legs and huge ears have come from. Hope we can all get together for the pups 1st Birthday Party - will be great fun!

The BBQ will be held on 15th July 2009 from 6.30pm onwards. Do hope that many people are still able to attend this worth while event and if you can come, please PM us. Anyone also wanting to purchase raffle tickets before the draw, please get in touch also - we would hate you to miss out! Many thanksSarah and Mark
Its just typical isn't it. These poor people have been living in the tents for over 3 months, putting up with new tremors every day, which must be absoultly terrifing, many too frightened to return to live in their own homes, even if they can and now a huge fuss is being made about two small tremors of around 2.2 just because a few world leaders are in town. Hopefully some good will come out of it all and the profile of the tendapoli will be raised and more money too.
Well it is a beautiful sunny, hot day in Le Marche today! Lets hope Summer is here to stay. Quick, get the BBQ lit!
Yes - it is early days here and so much for Ronald to work on, especially with all our requests. Hopefully the facility can be added soon.
Badger, the only way I can think of is to create a blank page on a website if you have one, then post the info on there and put a link on here to it - a bit of a long winded way round though someone can probably think of an easier way? Kevan?????
See I knew he would come to our BBQ - just stopping by to meet the people of L'Aquila first before he is on his way to Amandola! What a lovely thought. Clooney coming to L'Aquila Hope it raises the profile of the people of L'Aquila still living in the tents - it can't be much fun in all this rain - we have no right to complain about the weather really do we, sat watching the rain come down from the comfort of our own homes. Just lets try and raise as much as we can for them at our BBQ, whenever it may be!
Thanks Andrew, I've got a good feeling about this next attempt - 4th time lucky!
However much we would love to help Chloe, and wish you all the very best finding him a home, please DO NOT SUGGEST ME ANYONE or Mark WILL kill me!!!! 3 abandoned dogs is just enough. You are doing a great job and Alfie sounds so sweet - what about getting in touch with Fiona at petsinitaly and she could feature him on her website.
4 Huge storms, thunder, amazing lightening and torrential rain and wind - who would have thought it was July in Le Marche. So glad we cancelled the BBQ but do hope you can all make it when the weather finally decides to give us a break!
Just had a huge storm which started at 7am and looks like there are more on the way, so writing this quickly before we loose the internet and electricity again. Do hope everyone has seen the message re the BBQ and our appologies for anyone who does not. We have emailed and sent messages to as many people as we can. Looking forward to the start of Summer!
