We did it - we finally had the 'BBQ Event of The Year' and we had a great night and we hope that everyone enjoyed themselves.

Did anyone just feel that earth tremor at 11pm. Here near Amandola it was very strong but short, the first we have felt for a while. Hope this does not mean there is worse to come.

Had a great meal in Da Cicco in Gualdo last night. Although it was 10pm when we arrived, Michelle the lovely waitress was very helpful and friendly (she is Romanian) and spoke very good Italian and English.

The Marche Chapter are holding a BBQ to raise funds for the victims of the L'Aquila earthquake on Sunday 21st June, hosted by Sarah and Mark at their home Villa Conti (please pm Sarah for directions) from 3pm.

Previously we used a Commercialista to calculate our ICI -they charged us €30 each but we did use the SOGET website and the calculations came out the same. As it was our first time, we wanted to make sure we got it right, but our understanding is that the ICI has been abolished. Are we right or are we being misinformed?
But this is the first email I received from SI and thought it was all in one ??? Don't worry about it - will see how many tickets she sells! Hi Sarah Do you think then we should combine the members here and your barbe guests in the raffle and hold it at your house on the 21st June??? Is £/€2 a reasonable entry fee???.
