Does anyone know how Italy is for asthma. Having only been couple of weeks at a time just wondering for people there long term how they find it compared to UK. Also how they cope for treatment. Thanks

I have just read the youth unemployement figures - very worrying! 40.5% in Italy (20.7% in UK) which will only lead to more youngsters leaving the country to find work. Ireland lost 400,000 15-24 year olds in last 3 years.

I remeber a few weeks back someone said they couldn't have an electric kettle on at the same time as water heater. Is this something that only happens in rural areas or is it everywhere?

I am appealing for help please. My great nephew 8 year old Jude is now really disabled with Muscular Dystrophy. He is a really happy little boy but due to his deterioration finding things to keep him busy is becoming more difficult.

No discounts here in the south of England either. I speak to builders with no work but they are not prepared to do it cheaper as all the Poles have gone and there is no competition for the work that is available.
Maybe another topic should be started on researching where one would like to go!
I'm not researching into where I might like to go. I just thought it might be an interesting topic for people to say why they chose the area they are in.

There are less people on the move at present and it is people thinking of relocating that have lots of questions to ask. I think this forum is far better than previous one as the bitching has gone away....thank goodness. People with genuine questions get great advice from very knowledgable respected people.

Thanks for that. The actual car hire is not a bad price anyway its the insurance that is so horrendous - don't suppose that will be reduced :( I always go for the full whack so that I don't have to worry in case it gets nicked!
If everything had gone smoothly you would have nothing to look back on and laugh! Have a toast to the next 5 years !! And agree with Amaretto you have been a good friend to many people, who I am sure appreciate it.
