Does anyone know how Italy is for asthma. Having only been couple of weeks at a time just wondering for people there long term how they find it compared to UK. Also how they cope for treatment. Thanks

I have just read the youth unemployement figures - very worrying! 40.5% in Italy (20.7% in UK) which will only lead to more youngsters leaving the country to find work. Ireland lost 400,000 15-24 year olds in last 3 years.
Did anyone see the programme on BBC4 last night - Good Italy Bad Italy - very interesting if not depressing.
I remeber a few weeks back someone said they couldn't have an electric kettle on at the same time as water heater. Is this something that only happens in rural areas or is it everywhere?
I am appealing for help please. My great nephew 8 year old Jude is now really disabled with Muscular Dystrophy. He is a really happy little boy but due to his deterioration finding things to keep him busy is becoming more difficult.
I just booked 2 seats Bournemouth to Pisa return for £28 all in. I just love Mr O'Leary. x
Thought it might be interesting to know why people chose the area they now live in. Whether its because you have family there, just like the area etc.

Hi and welcome. Do you know yet where you will be visiting? Plenty of people on here to give you good advice. You are obviously travelling from long distance, States or Down Under? Hope you have a head for heights! I have a big problem with the mountain roads - some drops are enormous and no barriers!! Look forward to hearing your travel itinery. Joy

Tinacara - I was in Sainsburys the other day - had taken ages to get through checkout as I had loads of shopping (why I don't know when there's only 2 of us) Half of the checkouts were closed so long queues. I am in the middle of paying and said in passing 'oh dear I've forgotten something' No problem said the assistant and rings her bell, gets someone to fetch it for me, I felt really embarrassed and apologised to the queue but the assistant says that is the policy. Maybe the manager has been shopping in Italy!!!!
Oh, I see. Well I think I will only write when I have something really interesting or exciting to impart. Not really my thing. Probably the Italian in me that I keep things close to my chest
HiMichelangelo - are you thinking of a move? I agree with you to find out as much as poss from the interns!! Hard decision at present to move - unless of course you aren't affected too much by the £/E and property prices which is a big problem for most people. Hope you find what info you require on the Community.
I don't understand what the status thing is all about. I have looked at what people have put but does anyone really want to hear how I feel today? Been in the garden all day , got the back of my neck burnt, feel knacked............see what I mean . I'm sure we could put something more interesting to get 'status'. Maybe, have we done something above and beyond today? Just a thought.
Angie - I had the same problem a few days ago - I posted something then couldn't see it so did it again and hey ho both came up - then I didn't know how to delete! Just like first day at a new school - feel very nervous of doing the wrong thing, going the wrong way, getting lost........ Joy
And I thought you wanted my date of birth so you could send me card.......never mind I'll send myself one! :((
Think about what you have written and if you feel you wouldn't like to receive it then change it before it goes out - that way nobody gets offended. :)
