Hello :). We leave the nominations open to the public, of course we go through the list after but basically we asked readers to nominate THEIR favorite bloggers in the categories that we chose. It is natural that the blogger's will ask to be nominated by their readership - but it is up to you on whether or not you want to do so. Later, the public will be able to vote on those shortlisted via the nominations. If this is all confusing let me know and I will try and explain a little better.
Hello yes, that is perfectly fine! Go right ahead
Hello Lee, we have all of the categories listed out here for you to take a look https://www.italymagazine.com/blog-awards we look forward to seeing your nomination!
Hello Debra, I have the link for you here - do let me know if you can't see it or you have any problems.
I agree that Le Marche is a wonderful place to visit. I did a little truffle hunting there and was amazed by the stunning scenery, good food and fun people. Definitely visit Amandola and the area around Mount Sibellini. I also really liked south Tuscany for beaches (Maremma area especially) or even Carrara, a less well-known area of Tuscany close to both the mountains and the sea. I did a tour in the marble caves and it was absolutely incredible! Let us know if you need any more specific information
Hello Ted, thank you so much for sharing your story. I think it' important for us to share our stories so that people get a true, realistic account of what life is really like in Italy. The fact that you were able to get everything done so quickly is remarkable, in Florence, they definitely aren't that efficient but there is also a lot more people. Kepp us posted with your adventures and anytime you have an Italy question, you can ask us here :)
