I would also siggest greve or panzano in chianti, you can easily reach both by bus (SITA) which is at the bus depot next to the station in Florence, alternatively you can also take a tour from Florence to visit some of the wineries, I personally like the degustibus organization in Florence which you can check out here http://www.de-gustibus.it/en/brunello-wine-tour-2/

I think people often have strong opinions about places they really don't understand. Plus the media seems to relish focusing on negative news coming out of Italy rather than the positive. Yes there are a lot of problems here, I wouldn't deny that. But there are so many positives too. I personally chose to live in Italy rather than the USA and though it was hard in the beginning, our day to day lifestyle is really what makes it worth it.

Hello! Thanks for checking out our forums here on ITALY Magazine. You know that is one of the hardest questions to answer because finding work is pretty hard for the locals, you have to be creative here. While many people find work teaching English, I personally believe that just because you speak the language, this doesn't mean you can teach it. That being said, if you can work online or independently, it would make life much easier. Or find a reputable company in the city you want to learn, you just have to figure out how your skill set could be desirable for the company to want to hire you and not a local Italian.
