Ciao e tutti, Anyone familiar with Trapani? We shall be arriving on the late Ryanair flight which, even if on time, lands at 22.35, (June 22). We need to get to out Hotel in Trapani old-town.

Ciao e tutti, Just a little warning. Ryanair was weighing cabin baggage on the early flight last week from Stansted to Ciampino. I had practised so I put on my three coats & filled my pockets to get under the 10kg limit.

We frequently drive the Gotthard route & pay no tolls at all until we reach Italy. We buy an annual vignette for Switzerland which gets you through the GotthardCheck out the answer from Alan h. on this old thread:http://www.italymagazine.com/community/post/some-advice-about-ferries-routesTo date we have stayed in Mulhouse, Metz, Colmar & Freiburg. They all have cheap convenient hotels. We try & stop somewhere interesting each way to make it more fun!In bocco al lupoC.

A good towed flail-mower will be quite pricey too. There are some horrible cheap ones that won't last a season. If the field is not too big then a walk behind (or stand/ride-on) rough-mower will do the job. They will knock down anything you gan get them, over except perhaps small saplings.Mine easily manages waist high weeds & grass. Search on names like Scag, Ferris, Great Dane, Etesia & Grillo. Towards the end of the season you will find some good bargains In bocco al lupo

When we started driving from Dunkirk we enquired on here & got some really useful tips. http://www.italymag.co.uk/community/post/some-advice-about-ferries-routes Our prefered stop these days is the Etap in Frieburg, but that's just 'cos we like Frieburg. Nearby Colmar is also nice with the stunning unterlinden museum. In bocco al lupo!
