You might want to try the following sites as well to find something locally:http://italia.bakeca.it/auto-moto-0?quadhttp://www.subito.it/annunci-marche/vendita/usato/?q=quadhttp://www.autoscout24.it/Moto/ListGN.aspx?atype=B&mmvmk0=50419&mmvco=1&make=50419&pricefrom=500&cy=I&ustate=N%2CU&intcidosp=motosearchmaskAs far as the white roads are concerned you should check to see whether they are for public use (in which case assume that the Codice della Strada (i.e. road regulations) holds. If they are private you might be ok but always check with a local friendly carabiniere or police officer.

A good towed flail-mower will be quite pricey too. There are some horrible cheap ones that won't last a season. If the field is not too big then a walk behind (or stand/ride-on) rough-mower will do the job. They will knock down anything you gan get them, over except perhaps small saplings.Mine easily manages waist high weeds & grass. Search on names like Scag, Ferris, Great Dane, Etesia & Grillo. Towards the end of the season you will find some good bargains In bocco al lupo

hi Anne,i've just spent a bit of time looking into possible solutions ie machines for this issue for myself.considering inclines are also part of the situation my conclusion seems to be a Japanese flail mower a cutting section wide 160cm an 8 hp engine 4 gear and rubber caterpillar tracks allowing it unlike most sit on stuff to go up quite extreme slopes in safety it's a walk behind machine a bit bigger than your average moto zappa and the like .The best i've seen is a brand called OREC.This is a specific machine not a multi tasker but i have to say i was impressed and it could avoid the need to buy two machines ie a quad and a flail mower which as ram pointed out would be very pricey on their own anyway. The only downside to this is that..it costs little less than a basic Panda that is with IVA ..over Euro 4.000....i still may get one however as i've seen that it's robust flail allows you to go over branches/bushes/very long grass without difficulty or effort...anyway..
