I have just seen that with the latest push on the Marche BBQ event and other fundraising that continues, the magical barrier of £10,000 has been exceeded.
I came across a strange looking creature when clearing the compost heap last year, but thought nothing more about them, until this year. It looks like a mini lobster, but after some searching hav discovered it is called a mole cricket.
Thanks for the links Mike and raising the profile of these plans again.Do you know if there is an Italian version of the petition? It would be great to get this going on "home" territory too.The whole thing is a bloody disgrace, driven always it seems by the greed of the few, to the cost of many.
..... with no revenue coming in from the sale of the magazine, are you considering a membership fee for access to th online magazine (and Community pages)?
EMCS is reporting just 1km depth, hence the reason it was felt so strongly. Hopefully it wasn't strong enough to cause any structural damage, although it's a worry with many buildings still remaining fragile.
I had never heard of Ingham, Queensland, so did a bit of "googling" and found that it has an interesting history, particularly during the war years. The annual festival looks great too!Out of interest, are you of Italian descent and if so, do you know which part of Italy your family came from?
I have recently moved to Intasure and found them to be efficient, reasonably priced and most important of all, provided full quake cover with a low excess. Intasure are an underwrting agency based in the UK and cover is placed with Lloyd's of London.Fortunately, I haven't had to make a claim so far, so cannot vouch for their paying ability!http://www.intasure.co.uk/
.... if you do make your own, before you combine with water/sugar as Carole has suggested, combine the infused alcohol with double cream (sweetened to your taste if you like) in the same volume (eg 250ml of alcohol to 250ml of cream). This will go in the freezer and should not freeze, but become viscous, just like diesel does at low temperatures! This will be about 40% proof, so take it easy! Enjoy!P.S. Very good point Gala on using only unwaxed/untreated lemons.

The news links at the bottom of the page are also very informative. If true, this a dispicable crime.
