Thanks for your reply - do you mean that renting a car at the airport is cheaper than leasing a car in Sicily?I don't seem to be able to find any car hire in Sicily that will rent a car for less than 100 euros a week which over a 6 month period would be around 2,400 euros.If you know of any other cheaper options, please do let me know.

cool, thanks for that. i noticed Unieuro has a shop/branch in Modica. is it general practice to get your builder to install washer, cooker ect..... or is it best to get the shop to do it?
thanks for feedback, i didn't realise you could get non fixed metal bars. I've noticed some of the houses around the area don't have the bars, do you think it's imperative to have them?
