Does anyone know where online you can find heavy duty plastic storage boxes for stuff we want to put away for a time,preferably boxes you can stack on top of each other? I have found plenty in England but I need some now in Italy.

So far I have been fairly lucky with the traffic at St Gothard Tunnel but I have seen the traffic backing up in the opposite direction and have been very glad not to be in it. Is there any advice as to how to avoid the jams there?

I am intending to leave Marche on Sat 3 Sep by car to drive home. Will I miss the traffic that causes huge jams on the motorway as Italians drive home from their summer holidays?

Thanks Fillide. As we'll spend a night near Milan we'll get to the tunnel Sun morning so maybe we'll leave the day before to get there Sat middayish. We can't afford to leave Italy till Monday/Tuesday. I'd like to wait till calendar is available but late July could become early August and I want to book the return Eurotunnel trip + another night in France on the way.

Thanks to everyone for your comments. I've tried without success to find the tunnel website. Can anyone help? Alan H-would you advise getting off at Faido if you can see traffic ahead? So often you're in the traffic & it's too late to turn off.

There are two completely separate relevant issues on a sale of land. First the diritto di prelazione which is the right of adjoining farmers to buy land within 12 months of being notified and secondly usucapione which is adverse possession or squatters rights.For the first you need to know exactly who was notified of the sale and when and how and what they did if anything in reply and for the second exactly how long the farmers have used the land and what they have done. We had both problems when we bought our land and legal disputes are certainly not uncommon (though fortunately we avoided one). However I have no idea if the first problem applies to transfers of land to heirs. I would guess not but I would think the second issue could be important. I would get some legal advice locally.

I meant 25 kilos of goods. Size is difficult to calculate though I could have a guess.
