Does anyone know how to prepare the red and yellow bell pepper side dish, which is usually served cold. Are they roasted and then preserved in vinegar or are they freshly prepared and then left to go cold.

Have been driving in Italy on our holidays for the last five years and it is still a mystery of who is meant to give way on a roundabout.
My husband and I have been learning Italian mostly with the Michel Thomas CD's on and off for about four years now.
Hi, my husband and I are looking to move to Southern Italy in the next few years. My husband is a qualified mechanic here in England.
We are considering advertising our holiday home on the Italy Mag website next year and wondered if anyone has any first hand experience of having done so. We would be interested to hear if you thought it increased bookings much.
Rosella's pizzeria/ristorante is our favourite restaurant. It is situated in the main piazza of Sicili in Campania and is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Hi there, does anyone have experience of using satellite broadband for their internet in Italy. Did some research about three years ago and it was rather expensive. If anyone has got it, have the prices now come down and who are they using.

Thank you for the suggestions. We have already been looking on both of these, but haven't been able to find anything suitable yet.
When we were in Italy in June our friend showed us something that looked like a hornet, but didn't buzz like the hornets do in England. He called it a calabrone, which does translate to hornet. Perhaps gavarone is dialect for calabrone. Hope your wife's arm is soon better and you reap some good wine from the harvest of the grapes. Toni & John
Thank you Learning by Error, Joy and Annec. I shall follow your suggestions up. I don't hold out too much hope with so little to go on, but at least I will have tried. As the saying goes "it is better to have tried and failed than to never have tried at all". Many thanks Toni
I have already tried the birth certificate, but unfortunately that was of no help. I shall take a look at the links that you have both suggested and see where that leads me. Thank you Toni
Thank you Valentina - that will be perfect. I will pass on your best wishes on the wedding day.
We have pm'd you.
Thanks for the info Millsonka. We should have said that we are trying to do this from the UK, so therefore can't go and buy the scratch the pin card at the moment. As the credit has all gone on the phone we were worried that the SIM would be cancelled before we go back to Italy, so thought the online option was the best. We decided to try to access the site on a different computer and it went through to the payment page. We selected the Paypal option and thought that we had been successful until it refreshed the page back to the Wind site only to say "nessun importo pagato". We then searched down the list of payment methods available and saw that we could pay via unicredit with them, rather than from the banks site, which we had tried before and found that the smallest amount that way was €25. We have had confirmation of the payment from the bank, and the confirmation via the Wind site, we are just waiting for the confimation SMS and hopefully we will have succeeded! Regards John & Toni
Ram - Is it easy to spot which agent has got the mandate?
Thanks Alan H for the info. Think I can remember reading about this when it was orginally posted, but I had forgotten it was on the Italy Mag site. Michael M - I shall keep an eye out next time I am in Sapri. Incidentally did you know that the dolphin is the mascot of Policastro?
It is exciting when you get the first egg. So much so that you want to keep it instead of using it. You can't beat a free range egg though. The yolks are so yellow compared to shop bought ones. Enjoy - and may there be many more to come! We had our hens for about a month before they laid an egg and you almost get to the point of thinking that the first egg will never come, then suddenly they surprise you!
