I am retired and myh.usabnd and I will be both be foramlly retired as of September 20 and I will be formally retired as of September 20017. We are  New Yorkers,planning to move to Trapani, Italy We.have been traveling to Sicily and Puglia for the last five years and started comtemplating retiring in Trapani about 3 years ago and will be organizing our formal application in the next few months.We love Sicily and and see Trapani as a place we can live well and happily and easily travel everywhere in Europe.
