Although Amandola isa bit of a way from you, I would have a chat with Stefano Lucozzi before committng to bringing a stove frm UK. If your main concern is cost I'm not sure there'd be a lot in it by the time you've factored in the transport.Stefano also has a showroom in Tolentino. We did bring over a stove ( nearly killed us) but that was becuse wewanted a specficmake not available out in Italy. We bought a second one from Stefano for about E800Nodoubt there are lots of other places you could buy a stove over here, but Stefno does speak v good English and is very helpful
Thanks for the info Annec,but

i was in the store in amandola yesterday which sells stoves/woodburners etc and noticed thet are currently offering a 25% discount on the entire jotul range from the small ones to big stuff, some looked very nice and the cheapest smaller ones were starting at around 600 euro.i don't know really whether it would be worth all thatr hassle of buying a used one carting it over here with other costs (transport)and then presumably having to install it yourself it could be you woundn't save much either.
