TV gone bust? advice please

Sounds like its a goner guys; good value at the moment at MediaWorld near Tortoreto; you need to go down the motorway south to the next exit after San B (about 6 miles) and as soon as you pass through the casello there's the complex that includes MediaWorld on the right, behind BricoFer etc.

We bought a new Samsung from Euronics in Viterbo in March having looked also at prices in LeClerc, Ipercoop and the local independent TV shop. I am not sure but think that some of the promotions in Euronics may be local - and our Samsung was a special promotion price - about £350 for a 32" LCD HD ready - but they had a lot of other ones, smaller and cheaper. We are happy with the Samsung quality. If your TV cannot be repaired economically then perhaps you can look at what the big supermarkets in your area are offering and compare them with your local Euronics store prices. I have just looked on Euronics Italia site and you can get a good idea of the kind of thing available, and prices, in the Acquista Online section - though the store price might be a little different. I hope you get it sorted out soon.

Angie; just a thought; have you considered a trip up to San Marino? As you know it's a sort of 'duty free' state / country, and there you'll find a large number of electronic supermarkets that are generally cheaper than anywhere. It's also a great day out if you have time to go to the top of the mountain; lots to do etc. You'd need to come off the motorway at Rimini south.
