MAN&VAN TO DELIVER FURNITURE FROM UK TO ITALY

01/01/2010 - 17:30

Greetings to all. Hope you've had a good Christmas and New Year. We're moving to Le Marche in the summer, hoping for a slower pace of life (hurrah!). I thought of posting a message to our fellow Brits now settled in Italy who are having difficulty acquiring English furniture and collectables. As antique and vintage furniture dealers in the UK, we are experienced shop managers and antique/vintage fair stallholders, and could help with the furniture hunting and delivery dilemmas that you are facing there. We are driving down from June 2010 and can bring furniture requests/orders. Please PM us if you're interested. All our very best, Joy&Phil

This sounds promising! I don't know where you are based in the UK, but we have a linen press that I would love to be taken over to our house near Macerata. Have had a quote for £1000 by shipping company. Can give you the dimensions if you need them - but would be very interested in seeing if you could help.   We are out there from 22nd July - 1st September   Look forward to hearing from you   Carri

Yes, we have more van space than expected! Good news to others who live in Le Marche. We can bring your stuff from the UK to your homes there. Goods insurance also now in place (good for both UK and Europe). We can collect next week so please pm us and we can arrange collection. See you in 2 weeks...

We are extremely happy to have been able to collect and deliver your items. Thank you for breakfast, lunch, and the olive oil that you've given us. It's wonderful to know hospitable and wonderful clients like you. We've started our little website (very basic which will need a few tweaks) to make our business official. Looking forward to get our Codice Fiscale tomorrow. Please spread the word around.  Our website is  philipwhitefreight.tk We'll be in the UK in July, so let us know how we can help. All the best, Joy and Phil

I have a question for you; I represent an English company who supply training aids for Rugby. These include contact training shields that measure 70cms x 35cms x 21cms; weigh 1.8 kgs. I need to bring over 10 of these shields but the courier price is prohibitive. I had an 'out of the box' thought that maybe these items could be used to support/cushion items in your load whilst travelling over here. We live near Ascoli Piceno and could arrange a mutual offload point to suit. The shileds themselves are not delicate; reasonably soft, and could be split into individual items to suit your needs. They would be available at Rhino Rugby; London W4 and would be prepaid etc. I'd appreciate your thoughts; Andrew
