You will find the answer in the card itself and most of those are redeemable only in the country of origin and within the participating chain stores. Even gift cards issued by Visa or AMEX have geographical limitations.

I cannot believe some of the questions people ask on here. Would you bring Vouchers from your Spainish Holiday Supermarket and expect to cash them in Tesco UK!!!!!!!I think not

Actually, it costs me a certain amount in diesel to get to Italy.  I was just wondering if any of the gift cards issued by major UK supermarkets could be used to buy fuel in the same way that they can in the UK.  I have everything I could possibly want, and have some surplus cash on cards.  I was just asking a polite question as to whether anyone knew...... i'd rather spend it on fuel if it is possible, thats all.  Sorry if asking my question offended you.
