Hi all.  I have received a request from our UK house insurer, with whom we have had insurance for a few years on a property in Italy  The property is in my wife's sole name, and she is resident there. Our insurer says that they want me to provide my codice fiscale because the Italian government (Agenzia delle Entrate) requires this for the property owner who has a contract of insurance.  I took out the policy in my and my wife's name, but am not the owner.  We took out this type of insurance because it covers cases where the house is empty for long periods.  We needed that because my wife joins me in the UK for two or three months at a time.I do have a fiscal code, but that is because I have a bank account in Italy and a holiday home. Has anyone else had a similar request?
