Hello, i currently live in the uk and hope to retire and live in Italy next year and as close as possible to Belmonte Castello. I have dual citizenship, Italian and British and my commune is Belmonte Castello. I shall be sixty six next year and practise Italian on a daily basis, but still have a lot to learn.I shall be visiting Belmonte Castello in September and visit the Town Hall, but before i travel i was hoping to get some pointers regarding, rented accommodation(appartments) and approximate cost, health care, being a pensioner in Italy, approximate cost of living(utilities etc;). Can anyone give me some guidance please, thank you.

Have a look at sites like casa.it here to get an idea of the cost of renting. I assume you will be getting a UK state pension, therefore look to get a form S1 for health cover from when your UK pension kicks in. As to cost of living, that really does depend on your life style and requirements.
