Rather too much!....see the post "is it snowing yet". 70cm here for us in Southern Marche, have been unable to get the car out for 2 wks, but the village is walkable.It finally seems to have stopped and the temperature is due to rise slowly, but it will be a while b/f some are reunited with their nearest supermarket.

The blizzard persisted throughout the night with gusts of wind with a speed of up to 80 km an hour. The whole province is self-enclosed and the roads of access are practically unviable, mountain roads are evenly covered by a thick layer of ice and not even the region's coastline has been spared. . .

Yup we did have a secondary bashing, but that was a couple of days ago. Now and for the next week or so it is looking like a slow thaw is underway (great !). It was about a two week bombardment which left us bunkered down pretty much unable to get the car out as we had about a metre of the white stuff. Our Comune were superb along with the protezione civile people. Also of great help to ourselves were members of this Forum who offered great advice and support. S
