This year is predicted to be hottter than last year with temperatures in the mid 30's being the norm in Tuscany; hotter further south. Do what everybody who lives here does .....STAY OUT OF THE MIDDAY SUN.........have a long lunch; nap and re-emerger about 4. Wear linen as it's cooler... Ciao global warming..

Masterphoto, Good luck to you and all my best wishes. Taxi from Cagliari will cost you around €60-€70.Torre delle Stelle is a community of about 700 holiday homes. Many owned by residents of Cagliari who visit only at weekends. The beach there is good and the views can be stunning but I'm afraid the facilities in general are pretty limited. For example, there is only the one shop-supermarket and no real bars-restaurants within walking distance. (there is a beach bar etc but not much more). I think having a car there is quite important.
