A 31 year-old Italian woman is suing her ex-boyfriend to have topless photos of herself removed from Facebook.
The photos were snapped at a Sicilian beach in what was her last vacation before she decided to don the habit.
It seems that the boyfriend, in a bid to annoy the ex-girlfriend, tagged the photos "topless nun" which meant that they quickly gained popularity throughout the Facebook network.
The photo drew comments such as: "If all nuns were like her, I'd become a priest.'
It is expected that the woman will take her vows in a Turin convent this autumn.
This latest story is one is a series of stories of scorned lovers that take to Facebook in particular for revenge. An Italian comedy feature-film called "Feisbum" satirises such events.
