In the last 10 years, Italy’s restaurants and chefs have featured prominently in the prestigious “World’s 50 Best Restaurants” list. To celebrate their achievements, the London-based Restaurant magazine has organized a party-event in Milan inviting the chefs and owners of the Italian restaurants that have appeared in the list since 2002.
The following restaurants are regularly featured:
Osteria Francescana, Modena - chef Massimo Bottura (in the top 10 for the last four years; Bottura also won the 2012 Chef’s Choice Award);
Le Calandre, Sarmeola di Rubano (Padua) - the Alajmo family (in the list for the last eight years);
Combal.Zero, Rivoli (Turin) - chef Davide Scabin (in the list five times);
Dal Pescatore, Canneto sull’Oglio (Mantua) - the Santini family (in the list 9 times; Nadia Santini has been awarded the World's Best Female Chef award).
