(ANSA) - A new rash of strikes in the transport sector will hit Italy next week once the holiday 'truce' ends with the Feast of the Epiphany.
Air traffic controllers will usher in the new year of strikes on January 8, while airline pilots, cabin crew and ground staff will be staging strikes on January 19.
Air traffic controllers are set to strike again on January 21 and on the 30th.
A nationwide train strikes are set for January 12 and January 26, although minimum service will be guaranteed. Urban transport will be disrupted from January 9 to 20 with strikes scheduled on different days and times on a city-by-city basis.
