I am new to the site - looks great - I have a question - we own a French Car ( as we use to live there) , I have been told that we now need to change the number plate to Italian, as we are resident in Italy . Please can any one enlight me on the rules or how the whole process works .. anyone with the same problem ... I would be very intersted . Thank you Suzie Q Tuscany

as long as the French car is not a historic Citroen 2 horses vans (to be kept like a gold bar!), the Italian bureaucracy and costs will make you want to change the license plates, or you will become a new San Cristoforo ( patron saint of motorists, in Italy)....
