Safeguarding inheritance rights of wife

I have recieved this query which I am posting to start off a debate perhaps with people in similar situations:" I am resident in Italy as from April this year/wife becoming resident later this year. Own a property in Le Marche and currently renting in the UK. Likely to buy a small place in the UK. I have three children from another marriage. My wife doesn't have children. Have included le marche property in UK will. That about sums it up. Interested to safeguard my wife with regard to the Italian property in the event of my death. Could you tell us how you would like your whole estate to be divided between your three children and your wife on your death ie including the UK property you intend to buy and the house in Le Marche? Can you also let us know your nationality, and whether now you have moved to Le Marche you intend to live in Italy permanently?Charlotte
