I've gone with personalized Italy and found them absolutely incredible. They can arrange anything, anywhere in Italy and I did a vespa street tour in Rome, tours through the Borghese gardens, first class hotels. Annie is who I talk too.
Thanks guys for answering before I did, Vernazza is indeed a beautiful town in Liguria :). We also greatly enjoy Camogli, Portovenere and Levanto

Hello Christine, I would recommend checking out this interview we did with a geneology expert recently, she gives great tips on how to start the search.
Hello there, we are huge fans of Abruzzo too, did you check out our listings locally?
Ciao Kirsty, while I definitely think that Florence needs more than one day, I wouldn't try and overwhelm yourself with trying to do to much. I would maybe plan to visit one museum (if you're into that) and make sure to stop at the Santa Maria Novella Pharmacy which is a real treat, San Lorenzo central market and the first floor, perhaps a gelato at My Sugar and a coffee at La Menagere. In Pisa, I really like their exhibits at Palazzo Blu, the historical center is well worth a visit, not just the tower. For San Gimignano, I've heard great things about Poggio Alloro (dinner or lunch there).

Hello! I think it depends on how you feel about it. I got married last year and tips were not expected and I wasn't made to feel like I should. However, I did leave a 10% tip to my hairdresser.
I would definitely order direct from a farm, my favorite personally in Tuscany for example is Pruneti, excellent and a family business dating generations. You can order online too.. http://www.pruneti.it/en/catalogo/10248/tradition-oil.html
