Christina, it is completely up to you, which kind of travel you are accustomed to and enjoy. Have you ever driven in a foreign country? Are you comfortable touring by train and bus, going by your own schedule? I'd not, you may want to choose a tour package that appeals to you. You could also arrange a package tour, then stay on, on your own for a period of time.

Hera, you offer good tips. The reason I got on this site was to speak to people who are living in Italy. More sites can only be better!
Lois, I'm in Texas. I want the best of both worlds. We'll just have to see. Gala said it - that's what I want.
Thank you, Alberto!
Well, I think it's a grand idea. Many UK citizens never get to Italy. You will have PLENTY to talk about when you get home.
I'm sure they appreciate the chickens. Perhaps you should consider a new job fortifying old structures. Sounds like you have some talent. ;)
I'll have to check it out, Steve. My new, best reviews phone can't play adobe flash. 》:[
Hey Fred, I've been thinking about your chickens. How is your new, improved Fort Knox coming along?
Where are you driving from?

I shudder to think of driving a big trailer in italy! 8O
