When I was in Puglia last month someone told me that ENEL have done away with the differential charging for residents and non residents, can any one advise? (My source may have been thinking of supplies greater than 3kw)

Someone on the 'puglia posse forum' was looking for a house sitter the other day.
I'd miss nice tetley tea bags and perhaps dried yeast, but easy for visitors to bring on the 'plane, so not the end of the world.
Why camp when you can get a cheap hotel like Premiere Classe or F1? The time spent farting about with erecting the tent and checking out the ablution facilities is not worth it. We love camping but it's not the best for a speedy trip south.
I fell off a stool and put my boot through my recently purchased double glazed french door, the glass shattered into frightening shards, I was very lucky not to get severley injured. So maybe toughened glass is not normal in Italy. (The door wasn't cheap either.)
