Just how much cheaper us the resident tarrif compared to non resident? I just divided my bill (over two months) by my usage, and arrived at just under 28 cents per kwh.How would that change if I became resident?

Dig a deeper well Sabina , (ours is 130m ) and install rainwater recovery systems , we got 3 large concrete butts for free as they are unfashionable in our neck of the woods.
This October we did Hull - Rotterdam then stopped off in Wurzburg at the Pelikan Motel very cheap and worth it just for the Wurzburger beer- among the best I've quaffed. Then on to Trento -Best Western hotel via Austria , next San Marino for a gander before trundling our heavily over loaded combo to Latiano (with a scary blow-out en route to Puglia!) Enjoy the drive and can I just boast that our beloved Doblo Jtd and heavy trailer returned 48mpg over the 1800 miles from St andrews!! Ideal car for a Scotsman my wife reckons.
Not sure It is cost effective to take that sort of stuff back to Blighty, unless you have a large van planned already, probably easier to flog locally before you go, but then I don't know your circumstances.. we've just taken the plunge, but in the other direction!!
Selling in this economic climate will be easier said than done, sadly.
