Has anyone had any experience of these, whilst I realise they are not very practical if you live in the house full time, if you only occasionally visit, are they better than a ladder?
Well, I have arrived in La Lunigiana, my lawn is mowed, (thanks to my neighbour), I have spent a tidy sum at the shop over the road for anti "zanzare" (mosquito, stuff), went to my local bar last night 25 metres away - and it was empty, when I ask
Are people with Mild Autism worth employing? From my own experience on here - this forum - it is clear that the general public have little time for people with autism.
How does everyone here cope with rubbish when they only visit for a few days. Our commune now does daily collections, umido one day, secco the next, then vetro, and then around again.
In La Lunigiana, we have an outside pool with an orchard (of chestnut trees) for you to have your picnic in. There is a cafe/bar that does food and drink. And the pool itself has one of those really high concrete diving boards. Further, whilst you are in the swim you can look up and take in the beautiful views of the mountains. It's a public pool and most set out for the day. It's in Villafranca in Lunigiana.
If you read Google cache - you will realise Anastasia was the 2nd to post on that thread - but she deleted her comment. On that second comment she said had made the derogatory comment - allowing me to be judgemental for just a second I could forgive her by accepting the fact that - it could just be that she doesnt understand technology.
It's all done house to house. Where can I find where my local dump is. You thread attackers are beginning to sound like Anastasia on my GPRS & EDGE thread - where she said the thread wouldnt go anywhere - but in fact in went for 25 pages. Why are you lot so bitter? Or are you just self righteous - what makes you like that?
I have used a local professional firm recommended to me by the Immobiliare that I bought my house from - seems to have been a seamless operation. I pay online - and it's all sorted. One less worry.
Why should a country offer grants for a non resident - what is the mentality behind that thought? The point of a non resident is that you are not there all the time - I would have thought the point of a Country's Grant policy was to help people that are living in their country everyday - and their lives count for the benefit of the workforce for the country - not afly by night thats just there for the good times. I dont like the opening statement for this thread, I would like chewdog1309 to advise - why this thread was created.
A few years ago I submitted a subject matter - thats technology based and isnt relevant now so much. It was the highest hit thread on the forum at that time - some 25 pages long. A thread that Anastasia was to take the mickey out of and say that it was going nowhere. At the time I was also losing my job, and going through a court case. (Which I won - but was going through it at the time). A job that I had been in for - for 8 years. They wanted to sack me for being mental. This forum dissed me - and I also came out to this forum to some past history's of my life that haunt me - they werent so kind here - I tried to get back on the forum at a later date - but they ignored me. I dont know why I have been allowed back now. Years later - and now under going counselling for Aspergers which my Doctor wants to take through the NHS - but there is no diagnostic pathway for adults in my county. Aspergers was not recognised in the UK until 1994. Most GPs have no clue about it. My Dr has known me since 1992 and seen me through 2 court cases. Both employment related. He always asks me about my place in Italy. I have a job now - and it is bloody brilliant - ok - so I dont earn an amazing amount and I work bloody hard, but I have had a pay rise in the 2nd year, and are we not in a recession? And they accept my mental condition - I was upfront about it. We have a lot of geeks at our company!!! We are still taking people on now - our business is booming -recession - what recession? Recession I think is caused by humans that earn too much money in the financial sector. They get the jitters and the whole market shakes. As much as we think people are brilliant - people are just people - whether at the top of their job in the financial markets or running a forum - the general public are not expected to know and understand everyone. And lets not forget - an Italian forum isnt limited to English people - people from Africa, Slovenia, China and New Zealand can read it too, sometimes - we think we are in a safe bubble, but we are open to all. Bottom line. Life is good. (LG - China!!!!). I have had 3 Chinese girls living with me - from China (not English Chinese - and I have to say the experience on the whole was very good. I have a lot of respect for the Chinese.

I agree cheap paint takes ages to cover a wall. However, these one coat solutions in an old house - are they traspirante (breathable - or synthetic)?
