List of affected people

Hi, I am trying to get a list of people affected by the refusal of ASUR 13 & 12 (Ascoli & San Benedetto) to give us permanent residents permanent health cover. There is always strength in numbers and there may come a point where we need to join together to get the issue resolved. If you are already affected or will be in the next 12-18 months and would like to put your name (and your partner) on the list please reply to this post. I will then contact you privately for your contact details. I will say one thing - don't make the mistake of believing your comune if they have told you that you will get your permanent health cover after 5 years no problem. It is not their decision and if you are in ASUR 13 or 12 - you won't get cover. They have made this very, very clear and the comune are not aware of this policy. Just realised I am going to say 2 things! Also, do not (as I have heard other people say) think that when your permesso expires you don't need to do anything as you are already resident. You need to go to the comune and get your certificate of permanent residency and attempt to renew your health cover which will expire at the same time regardless of the scadenza date on your tessera. You only have 30 days to do this or they will cancel this for you automatically. Please join the list - we need to stick together.
