Hi,Thanks for that. Yes, I had seen that article, which is what prompted me to write the message. It's been a 7 year nightmare that seems unending. So many people were caught up in this scam. Sadly some of the couples actually took out mortgages to buy them. Unfortunately the Italian judiciary are strangely reluctant to do their job and return peoples money. Frustrating situation. It has soured our idea of buying a property in Italy.
