There have been some rumours of a possible downgrading of Ancona airport to a freight only scalo. Finally national government is trying to bring an end to the era of "an airport in every town" in which minor areas and comunities all wanted to have
we have guests from 15 countries (including italians) given that even google maps have difficulty in finding our location we always ask guests on booking to inform us from where they are coming so we can send them VERY SIMPLE INDICATIONS as to how
I was just reading someone called Pat Eggleton who wrote a patronizing article on the home page of this site concerning a proposal by a minister to shorten or do away with altogether with working lunch breaks.the writer may even have been to Italy
The other day our post lady delivered me a registered letter from Roma.it was from the ministero delle entrate...revenue again. As usual it was ,to say the least, almost incomprehensible .From what little one could glean it was concerning their "st

Yes Gala is right. You must get a lawyer preferably a specialist too, there is absolutely no way you'll ever see a euro without one.In any case you're looking at a very long affair (5-7 years at worst) but if you don't start proceedings immediately you may even start to lose some of your rights !,good luck.
i stayed with ENEL (you know devil you know etc) but i was talking only yesterday with my butcher who has pretty hefty electric bills for his store 350-450 a month. He told me as he was trying to save where he could that he made a contract with these people.anyway the bills were/are pretty much the same but one day he realized that he was receiving bills more than once(it happens in business that maybe you just pay the bills and don't always pay too much attention.the bottom line was over a period of 36 monthly bills they had sent /charged and got the money for 45 bills 9 double bills in other words, although he was pissed off he thought simply informing them and they would adjust everything...not a bit of it he is now having to pay a lawyer and go down that road!!!so devil you know OR new devil?
hi, as it appears most people here seem to be paying anything up to a euro per litre for lpg gas at 75 litres a week it becomes a tad expensive at 300 euro a month running cost!!! most people use normal cookers that are off most of the time and when the temperature starts running in at 38°c you certainly wouldn't want an aga on. they're also very big, very heavy, very expensive and alternatives numerous.....
yes, because those 600ltres cost with vat euro 376,47.
if you're talking about a business not just personal tax it is very complicated.of course you can register your own invoices etc but you would definitely require the services of an accountant (commercialista) to get you thru the jungle. You will/would on a regular basis receive unexpected demands for huge sums of money you believe to have already paid (in a perentory way) only the swift intervention of your accountant would save you from the jaws of the agenzia delle entrate (see IRS).on top of direct taxation there would be ssn payments these are for health/pension or whatever are obligatory and assume the dimensions of tax too. What you are allowed to deduct as expenses or whatever is initself a mysterious jungle not at all an obvious thing with time scales and practically algabraic approach.IRS people btw actually only like to talk to accountants it seems they can understand each other which is useful as they seem to hate people in general(take that for true) where do they find these people(?).IF however you will not be running any form of business concern and you are only concerned with a staright forward personal tax return then (you would still require assistance) but few a few dollars there are local centres (caf) who will help you to make your declaration, alternatively if there is little "to do" a commercialista would handle it for you anyway and a modest fee.i run a small business, the cost of the accountant's is currently (including 20% vat tax)Euro 2.880,00. per annum ,which is within the norm.
when the company installs their own bombolone it is in "accomodato d'uso" in other words you can only put their gas in it.if you want to change supplier you have to dig it out and either put in your own bombola at your own expense which allows you to use anyones gas or get another supplier to put in theirs to which you will be again tied....it's all quite a hassle really, ours is tied to Totalgaz so if we want to change we have to get it pulled out etc.
i was in the store in amandola yesterday which sells stoves/woodburners etc and noticed thet are currently offering a 25% discount on the entire jotul range from the small ones to big stuff, some looked very nice and the cheapest smaller ones were starting at around 600 euro.i don't know really whether it would be worth all thatr hassle of buying a used one carting it over here with other costs (transport)and then presumably having to install it yourself it could be you woundn't save much either.
don't forget yer burka john.
the exact measurement may vary slightly from region to region but basically (here) the pool in order not to incurr the necessity to have a life guard has to average a depth not superior to 1m40cm,a maximum depth of 1m60' with a slope not superior to 2%if the pool is deeper or even a plunge pool then the lifeguard stuff kicks in .if the pool is open to anyone the life guard thing is automatic regardless of depth.pretty ridiculous but there it is.makes pools even more of a luxury without pleasure (no diving etc)
hi penny,i go for the eye test to the occulist just behind the carisap in amandola and then get the glasses made up by the optician in the square.after 35 years old it's worth spending the 50 euro for a medical occulist to do a complete eye test before going to the glasses people and you'll get a proper prescription, there's also quite a good occulist in comunanza too.
