We were quite "lucky" in that to get a 21kw. supply to the property only cost us Euro 6.000  ca.despite the fact  that it involved over 3kilometres of new cable right across a valley.we had a guest from scotland who had a sheep milking shed within site of the power station for a similar supply to be connected cost him 25.000 sterling so i don't think that the costs here are particularly extreme for these things.as someone mentioned the biggest problem can be the time involved. It is never to do with lack of goodwill or hidden agenda's as some may infer.if for example ENEL have some development programmes in an area it can be all quite quick if on the other hand it's a real "cul de sac" then it can take time although if you make the contract they are obliged to commit them selves to a time schedule

I SEE YOU'RE STILL ALL HERE.story 1. I stupidly bought a McCollough from a local hardware store.it turned out to be rather heavy 45,definitely not well made etc.not content with it i even more stupidly got a three prong blade for it.the first time using the blade one of the points  sheared off in the form of an arrow head flew just past my neck could esily have killed me.the strimmer then broke down.no one in the area was able to fix this brand,a rep took it back to ancona to send to wherever it came back three months later by which time i'd procured another.after repair it lasted a week broke again  i gave it away.story 2. the second one was definitely very good all be it rather small 27.called BLITZ assembled if not made in reggio emilia.it was used until it eventually was literally worn out (3 years) but we have to do unfortunately a lot of strimming here no alternative.story3.the next one was the honda 4 stroke it's plus was that it was decidedly quieter, used petrol rather than miscela, and worked well on low revs needed when you were going round say an olive or near to rocks.HOWEVER it was definitely under standard when working fast it just didn't have the revs/speed of the miscela 2 stroke.so i put it in against the price of a new ECHO which i still have and is still going well.story 4. this year i decided to get another really good one so our worker could use the echo while i used the new one.thats were the shindaiwa came on the scene.all but cheap euro 600. amazingly balanced to the extent that it seems as a 45 to weigh less than the echo which is a 35.it's definitely and by far the best i've ever used.blades i'll never use again just too dangerous as we have a lot of rocks in the ground here.but i found a new cord which has a cord within a cord without being too fat and rarely breaks.

hi anne, i noticed at a certain point the robot discarded the rubbish (?) then i thought of it falling over on the cobbles inold streets,or falling down a flight of stone stairways,or falling off the cliff,or being attacked (by hoodies) or being sprayed by arsenal supporters, shot at, covered in political comments, having sexual features added to it (?), being run down by suv's,set fire to,i have the feeling it will be some time before we see these on the streets.....

Avery nice way is to enroll in  AVIS ( Thats the national bood donation association) in order to be able to give blood they give you quite a complete medical check, then a comprehensive bood test then you can give blood.doing this every 3/4 months gives you a wide spectrum on one's basic state of health of course they give you the complete copy of the test every time which if needs be one can take to one's doctor,if there's anything strange they usually repeat the test then send you to your doctor anyway.of course there are no tickets to pay this way.you can enroll at any hospital.at the moment in the Amandola area we're looking for more donors....

over the last fifteen years i've used several different ones including a four stroke petrol honda (this last one i was definitely not satisfied with) i 've used blitz, stihl, and currently have an echo and the best i've ever had which is a 45-shindaiwa it's a bit like driving a big audi after a panda but it is so well balanced as to be at the end less heavy than my 35-echo.25 is to my mind too small ,whilst it will work all right it just won't last very long if it has to be used regularly on bigger jobs.

hi, my grandfather and his father lived there it's a great place all be it rather flat.IF i were you i'd try and fly to either Roma or you may ,if you use Alitalia, find a new york - palermo flight which would be the best thing.public transport in sicily is at best tragic ( anyone who tells you different ..i gave a lift to the ticket inspector of the Palermo marsala train i dropped him off at Trapani we had time to have breakfast together and the train had still not arrived at trapani!)and unless you want to spend your holiday messing round with slow hot trains...hire a car!then you are free to explore not just marsala but other parts of the island.if you give me a while i'll give you a couple of addresses of good places to stay.in any case a visit to the valley of the temples at Agrigento is a must ,just as is selinunte, capo san vito, palermo :) i'd go to mazzara del vallo too , and enjoy sicilian cous cous with giant prawns.bear in mind it's all quite low key in those areas ie,it's not some mega turist destination.people will be great, drink lots of water better if bottled as there's a few problems with water.try and take showers at strange times of day as when you might normally take a shower there might not be water available.drink nice fresh bianco d'alcamo wine....
