As said lots of info this subject, but be aware insurance copmanies like saga will cover you for the full 12 months european use, only if you are staying the full 12 months. If you return to UK the insurance would be invalid. You might ask how will they know if you return. poss not unless you try to make a calaim.We use Stuart Collins and as far as we know he is the only one who offers an insurnace for the use of taking your car abroad with the option of leaving it for the 12months when you travel back to UK.
Thanks for the info, this year our comune not very helpfull ,said they are not allowed to calculate the Imu this time. Our comune web site is fine but looks like there is know where to put an adjusted figure in would this be the case!
Has anyone looked at IMU calculations for December payment!! this is for none residents. In June we paid almost double the previous year as I think most people did. We were told that the December payment would be recalculated. In June when we calculated the amount it came as 1176 annual, Ist payment 588 and assumed the second payment the same. We have just calculated on the computer the amount to be paid on the 17th Dec and it come to 396 showing the annual amount to be paid as 792 Just a bit confusing! if we pay the 396 the total we will have paid will be 588+ 396 total 984, when the new annual payment shows 792. Do you think the first payment stands, and the 396 is the final calculation. No prob with this as its quite a bit less than we thought, its just with the new calculation showing the annual payment as 792, I would have thought we should have been paying 204, 792 less 588. Hope this makes sence
We went 2 weeks ago to the comune in Licciana gave them our cadastral value they worked out what to pay and printed out the three forms. Also there is the forms to fill in on the comune web site ww.cominelicciananardi.ms.it.
