We are travelling back to the UK in the next week or so. Usually go via Mont Blanc and France. Fancy doing the Swiss, Luxembourg route, Anyone done this lately!! and problems with road works or the Gothenburg tunnelthanks
the comments from above are they from residents or none residents!! i think there are different ratesthe 10 euros a quarter is that the total for all taxes , transactions etc.We seem to pay about 35 euros taxes a quarter plus tranactions chargesseen our bank charges range from 300 to 400 euros a year
Some intresting reading!!Just returned to the uk Lakedistrict!! Got say, think cost of a lot of food stuffs here same sort of price if not cheaper than Italy and have to say most of the food as good and some better than Italy. We are very lucky that we have lots of local produce and must have some of the best meat you can buy.
Not sure if you are residents or none!!You are right about them not insisting on an mot as long as the car is roadworthy, but if no mot you cannot get a licence, and to get a mot the car has to be brought back to the uk once a year.
The insurance through Stuart Collins is for uk reg cars only, its for people like ourselves who are none reidents and who travel back and forward to Italy, leaving the car there, and returning once a year for motDave & Anna i asume you are none resident and in the same situation as ourselves if so this is about the only option you have.If resident then other option are available
Stuart Collins inurance swansea 01792655562This is the only Co i have found that will insure your car when left in Italy when you return to EnglandVW Sharen about £350.00 As you say Saga insurance will cover you only for trips
