Alanino, Very low charges indeed think we will have to make a visit to our bank. Do you pay govenment tax! and do they charge for your money transfer! We pay for statements and as said E2 per line on the statement, Have been down to see them and had the charges looked at, but compared with around E50 per year still paying well over the top.
The charges of E40 per annum , what does this cover. Is this a resident or none resident account. We find we can pay as much as E300 to inc tax and transaction charges eg E2 per line on your statement
While they have good food in Italy, they also have some pretty average food In our part of the country ( The lakes)we have some superb local producers, for Bacons, hams, cheese, game, salami, and the Waberthwaite dry cured ham as good as Parma. Take our meat must be some of the best in the world, and far superior than you can get in Italy In season, raspberry, strawberry, asparagus etc root vegetables, potatoes, carrots etc. Don!t really want to bang on but could do!! Sorry KarrenSheffield, but really have to bang the drum for British food
What area are you buying!! Although we had very few problems, it would have been nice at the time, to have spoken to someone who had been through the process of buying and restoring. I can understand where you are coming from , maybe if you give an idea where you are buying someone might throw in a bit of information
Great Area!! From Bagnone over to liccciana Nardi then over to Fivvizzano some nice villages. Great access to motorway, and lots of options for airports. Property prices will be higher in this area.
Yes it will be intresting to here if you have found anyone. I did e mail you as I know of someone who could have done a first class job, but so far no reply!!! I would have thought having to sell because you cannot find the right person seems rather drastic
