I am fast approaching the need to renew my driving licence as it is due to expire this mid year.
I have a regular sum of money sent over from the UK every month. This month however the money left my UK account and has yet to arrive here in Italy (Banca della Marche).
I saw this comment from a Californian news item............Emerging Cuisines from Emerging Markets - As the world grows smaller, the selection of cuisines grows larger and guests’ palettes are begging to try new flavours.
It will take a quite monumental event to prise us from our wonderful life and friends here. BUT,................. what/where is the future for the younger generation here ?

Hi sebastiano, Do you not have concerns about security, if any old passer-by can access your network ? I know wi-fi passwords can be 'cracked', but I'm not sure I'd just allow anyone to just park outside and 'log-on' ? S
I tried an orto a few years ago................my gawd,........ water water, weed weed, water water, weed weed !...... there were some successes, potatoes, beans, onions, zucchini and tomatoes all grew well, but the effort............blimey! I just have three tomato plants..............easy ! S

Hi Allan, You do indeed have a HUGE dish ! An installer locally here is providing 1.2mtr dishes and (I THINK) pointing to Astra 1N (or it maybe Astra 1S ??), which provides access to BBC etc. Your comment "I think it will be interesting to see if either or both of us continue to be able to receive the BBC when their transmissions are taken off the Astra 1N satellite at the end of this year or beginning of next." ..........I wonder what impact that will have ? Is this a definite ? S

It is pretty much a festa a day throughout August in particular.
