I'm sure someone here will advise (hopefully)............I have some 30/40 false acacia trees (the ones with the spikes - ouch !), they have grown in the last 5 years to some 15/20metres high.

I must ask the british food shop to try getting Parsnips, although I know the fact that their shipping delays could be a problem. I have some friends here that grew some two years ago, but they were very thin and LONnnnnnnG......... Another friend saidthey would bring some out for me (which they did), and brought enough to keep us going for a few years, we had to share them out............. S

I understand what you are saying, but I did not say others should not look at the post, what I said was that I don't like to see advertising such as this, especially when there is a group already called 'Items for sale or free'. I think also with the advertiser in question, they imply that they are just in love with Venice et al, when really I THINK (I am thinking, I'm not suggesting others are thinking!) that the real point is that they offering goods for sale. Rickardo............. We europeans know 'soccer' as 'football' (!)..............and you will not be alone in shouting FORZA ITALIA!!!! I will be with you all the way, The game itself will be very tough as I think Spain are the stronger side (particularly as individuals) and, with the shock of Italy's win over the Germans, the Spanish will be 'well up for it' ( a technical turn of phrase !). Go to 'l'arte del gusto' in Piana di Falerone, on the main SP into Servigliano(near to the fish shop)......he (Fabio) has it there. AND................. have lunch there (not free !) ask for a pasta and behold......very very good ! (well I think so !) Good luck, S
I have on occasion criticised this forum and have been truly shot down by long standing member(s). I have to say there are at times frustrations, but.............. the recent interactions regarding the IMU tax has been VERY interesting and informative (to me at least !) hang on in there guys, it is not that bad !! Apparently, itis not 'their' job to collect taxes, it is YOUR job to pay taxes (!!!!!!!!!!!!) Yes, it could be handled a tiny bit better
, there is a facility on the bank that I'm with (Banca della Marche) whereby you can fill the F24 in online (after you have done the calculations. I have to say, if someone sends me a bill and I feel it is valid I pay it. It is just the ridiculous mess of understanding the calculations and THEN..............adjusting it to accommodate their 'new' calculations which are to be made in September !! It's a good un !! S
