We have the basic Sky contract here in Italy and used to be able to purchase Premier League matches on Primafila where the games were listed with a code and you could select and pay individually for those matches you wanted to see.

My husband is keen to take up fishing iwhen we go to Lago di Bolsena in Alto Lazio. Could anyone please give advice on how to get a fishing licence just for the lake please ? Thanks.
I thought I had got this sorted out and knew how much I had to pay but looking on our Comune website to see what aliquota they had decided on I found a link (whch also apperars on other Comune websites mentioned in a previous thread) called Calcol
As there is such a wealth of knowledge in the Community I wonder if anyone has any advice/ suggested links about this query which I am posting for a friend who lives in Italy and is now an Italian resident.
Wishing all Community members a very happy New Year. Let's hope that 2012 is going to be better than the pundits lead us to believe. Whatever happens la bella Italia will come through it. I'm an optimist - and raise my half full glass....
Apologies if some of you have a sense of deja vu but, as the only reply to my earlier post under Ryanair charges for using credit cards etc was from Andiamo (thank you!), I thought I might get a better response under a more specific heading.A frie
No more complaints from me (for a while....) about Ryanair! I have read with interest, in the past, posts complaining / lauding Ryanair and my sympathies have tended to be with the complainers. Not any more .... at least for a while.
We have only just discovered VPNs (which I don't really understand!) to enable watching UK TV including Sky Go in Italy and had mixed experiences with the one we signed up to for 1 month as a trial.

Hi KeemWe found the agency Tecnocasa at Capodimonte on the Lago di Bolsena very helpful when they sold our apartment and we bought a house through them earlier this year. They are on the web.Good luck.
I cannot believe it. I took your advice Gromit to be a nuisance and it worked. I spoke to Equitalia again yesterday and they told me that the comune should not need the cartella to annul my husband's violation. I conveyed this by email to the comune and have just received a reply from the comune starting "Ci scusiamo" and they are going to annul both violations. The moral is be persistent and eventually it pays off.
Thanks for the info - I am having a battle with the comune as I have been sent a "violation" notice for 2000 but I have paid it. already. Finally I have got the comune to cancel the "charge" for me and I hope they have told the collectors, Equitalia. It took 4 Faxes including copies of the receipts of payment by me and my husband and several emails and phone calls - all from the UK. However, my husband is not so lucky - as his violation notice was sent elsewhere - but we don't know where - we cannot get the charge cancelled as we do not have a copy of the cartella in his name - even though I have provided the comune with the ref number, kindly given to me by Equitalia. They were much more helpful than the comune but cannot cancel the charge without instruction from the comune. I am going round and round in circles. I am writing this listening to Magic Radio and - ironically the song they are playing is - Have a little patience!!I used to work in local government in a reasonable sized UK city and if we had behaved in the way that the official at our local (tiny) comune has acted there would have been repurcussions and not good ones. Having got that off my chest, and also having fired off an email back to the comune, I am feeling better.
Gromit - could you explain what INAC stands for please. I have googled it but it only came up with ENAC - italian aviation sites. Thanks.
Thank you Jinty. I found references and it seems like it is coming to Capodimonte - plans agreed under something called Piccolab - small comuni larga banda - but we shall see when!!Best wishes
Thank you to all for advice. It is not a luxury property and by the end of August I should be a resident ie inscribed in the anagrafe. Why does it have to be so complicated? A bill for the amount required would be so much more simple - like the water or refuse bills!Thank you again.
