I am sorry if this has been covered before, but just looking for a brief idea. I understand that the process of obtaining an Italian passport can be arduous.
Hi, we managed to get both our dogs Italian pet passports but it was only possible with my wife's Italian residency.
I initially tried with all my property deeds , letter from the commune etc. I even got as far as confirmation of the vets appointment before I received a follow up email stating no residency, no passport.
Hi, you are right about the pellet stoves, the pellets jumped from around 4eur per bag up around 12 at the hight of the russian energy crisis(invasion).
They have since dropped to around 5.50.
I have all three, open fire , enclosed wood burners and stuffas (pellet stoves).
By far the simplest is the pellet stove, you fill it every 3 or 4 days depending on usage, it's full programmable 7 day cycle and clean takes seconds.
Thanks for that. I do have a Monte Blanc multi use pass that brings down the cost massively. It comes down to about 16 euro each way. The telepass is the same price plus the monthly admin fee.
Thanks for all the details. The main reason I avoid Switzerland is we take a trailer and they limit the speed to 80kmh, which means takes an absolute age, but may not have much choice.

Sorry. Just checking if you are able to login to the community section of this site. When I try it isn't working.
Not a big issue but just enjoyed checking up on what others were up to occasionally.
Thanks

Hi we have an ancient mill in north of Piedmont.
Beautiful location in the woods, on the banks of a river surrounded by mountains.
The renovation is currently being completed (finishing for Christmas).
The property is spread over 4 floors.
At present we have 7 double bedrooms and 1 kids room with bunk.
I am happy to send pictures and location details etc if interested.
Let me know.
Regards
Dean

Very simple to install as well.

Thanks for all the help.
I think something has been lost in translation as no one has suggested deceiving any authority.
I will update as things progress (hopefully).
Thanks
English (with Italian father)
Quick update found this website that seems to give stock levels at the petrol stations (remains to be seen if its accurate)

Have filled jerry cans and hope to make Italy in 1 run if needed.
Seems like years since it was straight forward. Covid, boarder control issues, fuel strikes etc.
